The votes were pooled to decide the popularity and preferences. Among 25 finalist monuments seven were declared based on public votes.

If God had sufficient wisdom and power to construct such a beautiful world as this, then we must admit that he has gifted man with wisdom and power to create some beautiful architectural monuments to be known as wonders of the world. These monuments are certainly some of them immeasurably greater than that of man, and hence qualify to be the wonders of the world. Because of architectural value and history associated with them several monuments are declared as the world’s heritage sites.

The list of wonders of world is compiled after a long research. These are decided by the feed back of people from all around the world and the importance of that monument or place. These wonders are a classical example of historical antiquity and not only include manmade edifices but also some natural marvels. Latest seven wonders of the world were announced on 7th July 2007. in the list 25 monuments were nominated for a poll and people from all around the world voted for their favorite monuments. Out of those 25 the seven that were voted by maximum people were finally chosen.
